An eight-year-old child was killed and six others, including women and children, were injured in a hand grenade attack on a residential house in Wadh tehsil, Khuzdar district, Balochistan, on Sunday. According to police, unidentified armed assailants hurled a grenade at the home of two brothers originally from Kashmore, Sindh, who were living in Wadh with their families and working as labourers on local agricultural fields. The explosion killed the child on the spot, while six others sustained injuries. The wounded were shifted to a nearby hospital, where doctors confirmed their condition was stable. The blast caused panic in the area, with residents rushing to assist the injured and security personnel cordoning off the site to collect evidence. Police assured the public that all necessary measures were being taken to bring the perpetrators to justice and restore security in the area.
